Quality Policy CIVIL DEFENCE SUPPLY LTD QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT Purpose & CommitmentIt is the policy of Civil Defence Supply Limited to ensure that all its customers receive a superior level of service by providing the highest quality product delivered on time. To this end objective the Company will maintain an effective and efficient Quality Assurance program based on BS EN ISO 9001:2008 - Quality Systems are planned and developed in conjunction with other management functions.This Manual describes how the Quality Assurance program of the Company is designed to ensure all requirements relating to quality are recognised, and that a consistent and uniform control of these requirements is adequately maintained. The management will demonstrate commitment of compliance with the quality system and to continually seek improvements in its effectiveness. It shall be the responsibility of individual ‘departmental managers’ to implement and integrate the quality procedures into regular working methods and to ensure that all such methods are clearly defined and documented. To ensure our policy is maintained, all employees will be properly trained and be sufficiently competent to meet the standards of quality required. CommunicationTo ensure that the Company policy is maintained, all employees will be properly trained and made aware of the standards of quality required. There shall be an on going means of informing employees of Company developments and achievements regarding Quality activity. Employees shall be encouraged to contribute to continual improvement in this respect.ObjectivesIn the interests of developing continual improvements, Quality objectives will be set against current Company standards and will be monitored. ‘Benchmarks’ will be created; Quality targets agreed where appropriate, and regularly reviewed and employees kept informed. (Appendix 5.3a)ReviewRegular reviews will be held with a fixed agenda to sustain the commitment to meeting customer requirement and to promote continual improvement of the system.The Independent Quality Systems Adviser will constantly monitor the implementation of the quality program in order to verify that the necessary systems and procedures are followed to ensure they are written to meet the requirements of the Standard and to verify implementation by regular auditing. Further, to maintain effectiveness by carrying out regular reviews of the Quality System. · The Company Policy Statement shall be reviewed each year and where appropriate it shall be amended to meet any changes in the purpose of the organisation.
